How the tool works in practice

You enter the full URL and start the check. The tool then loads the delivered headers, evaluates important security headers, and presents the results as a security overview with a raw-data view.

This way you see both the quick management view via score and findings, and the actual header values when a technical follow-up review is needed.

Core features and key views

  • Security header score: The header situation is presented as a compressed overall view.
  • Analysis of missing or weak security headers: Critical gaps become directly visible.
  • Raw data view: The actual header responses remain transparently accessible.

The tool is particularly helpful when you want to quickly assess whether a page is properly secured on the browser side or whether deeper hardening is worthwhile.

  • Use the score view as a starting point, but rely on the raw view as well for detailed decisions.
  • Check not only the homepage, but also security-critical subpages or applications.
  • Combine the check with SSL and system tests when a comprehensive technical security status is required.
